Healthy sides for hot dog luncheon for 4 and 5 yr old!

I'm am sitting this summer and these kids are begging for hot dogs. I bought the Applegate nitrate free, hormon free dogs and whole wheat buns.

What healthy sides go with hot dogs. I have mustards,homemade ketchup, relish, tomatoes and onions for condiments. two of the kids requested onions., btw.

It's for4 kids too.

  • Fruit salad. You can bake sweet potato wedges and make them into "fries".

  • Slice up a water melon- or any type of seasonal fruits. Veggies & dip, tortilla chips & salsa. My husb. cuts up potatoes & onions, seasons them, adds butter & puts them in foil on the grill. It's yummy :)

  • Celery with peanut butter. Carrot slices. Coleslaw and potato salad.

  • You can make oven fries, slice some veggies like carrots, jicama, cucumber and celery.
    Cherry or grape tomatoes (my oldest loves it!)- you can take red and yellow tomatoes, alternate them in a kebab and grill them or serve them raw
    Grilled corn on the cob with lemon and chilli powder
