Did you see this?! So shocking :(

I can't imagine actually being there & knowing I just witnessed the instant death of 2 people. I feel so bad for the families of those lost, but also for those who witnessed it. :(

  • Seems like something like that happens at least once a year at air shows. My family and I were at one in 2007 at NAS Oceana in VA Beach when one crashed during his rehearsal. I've been very leery of air shows after that.

  • So sad. I don't know why people insist on doing such dangerous things.

  • It seems to me like air shows have a high fatality rate. It never seems surprising to me when something like this happens. I don't go to air shows for that specific reason. Very sad for the pilot and the wing walker.

  • Sad, but at least it was doing something they loved to do.

Ballad ... b/c it's fun. Being "safe" all the time is boring.

  • The worse thing I ever say in person was when I was a kid & saw a dog get hit by a car. The dog even lived, but I had nightmares for weeks. I can't imagine seeing something like this, or being personal witness to any tragedy. At least when they air it on TV, I can change the channel if I don't want to see it.
