  • My husband is allergic to cats and dust and coconut. He also gets hayfever. Basically we avoid those things (sadly since I love cats as well as dogs)

Ds is allergic to mold again avoid that

DDs allergic to cats, mold, coconut, anything green, growing and has pollen. She is allergic to spider venom.
Basically we treated the symptoms and it worked for her except the spider bite which now she is armed with an epi pen.
Mine are now both fully grown.

  • Yes we have both Zyrtec and Clairitin. Pretty much year round with the shift into winter being the worst.

  • Year round ... I take a store brand of Zyrtec plus Tylenol sinus (walmart version). I was taking Advil Sinus but it started giving me a headache.

Oh and I use Afrin No Drip nasal spray. It works really well but it does have one nasty drawback ... it does tend to burn like you inhaled pool water through your nose.

  • I take Claritin daily for most of the year. My DD takes Claritin on days when her allergies are bothering her—there are certain times during the warmer months when she has them.
