The only thing I did differently was used a mix of arugula and spinach instead of just spinach. Is it the arugula? It has what I would describe as a kind of bitter, plastic-y taste with an almost coppery aftertaste. I also accidentally dumped a bit more ground flax seed that usual but I don't think that would affect the taste much?
