its 98.3 f normal tempeture for a baby of 28 days ?

  • 98.6 is considered normal, so that seems pretty close. The baby could be crying for any number of reasons. Colic maybe. Make an appt. w/ your child's Dr.

  • If you're concerned, take a baby that young to the doctor. You know the child best. The temperature doesn't seem out of line to me, but if something doesn't feel right, a quick checkup is better than waiting.

    Between 97 and 100 is considered normal for babies.

    Babies cry because they are wet, hungry, lonely, as well as because  they are too hot or too cold or sick.


    Are there other signs that you baby is sick?


    You can call your pediatrician, but you will want to know all the different things to report.


    If you are seriously worried just go ahead and go.

    if the baby is crying that much and nothing you are doing helps- go see the doctor.
