What goodies sell the best at bake sales?

Scouts are having a bake sake from 9 to noon this weekend at our town's centennial celebration. What would you bring and what sells the best?

  • brownies and fudge were huge at the school's carnival this year. Temperature might be an issue, though - they had the table set up indoors.

  • Temp will be a huge issue. It's suppose to be 105 by noon. I'm thinking about regular blueberry muffins and gluten free ones too.

  • In that case, you might do best to set up some coolers and sell something like lemon crushes or popcicles.

  • Muffins, brownies or cookies that are sold individually or in small servings at a low price. Nothing that's frosted or to messy. People want to drop a buck and stick something in their mouths as they walk away. Instant gratification. I've also had good luck with quick breads like banana bread and zucchini bread.
