I don't know much about the flu but...

I watch the reports on the global health and i see the flu is getting around and its almost july. Is this normal?

  • yes it's normal. The flu goes around all year, it's just more wide spread come fall winter time.

  • I used to think it was seasonal but it does seem to be all year.

  • I don't know why, but whereas now the flu seems to be worse in the fall and winter, my grandma used to talk about how summer was the dangerous season, back in the day. Mothers were afraid of losing their children to the flu in the summer. It would be interesting to know what has changed.
