  • Yes, anything in large amounts is not good, but limited amount of coffee are not horrible. I think they told me to try and keep it down to one cup or less a day.

    You could also drink decaf!

  • If you've gone this long without it, what's another 2 weeks?

I was told to limit caffeine to one beverage a day.

  • I would not going this long and I love coffee. My OB allowed me to drink coffee throughout pregnancy even during labor!

  • Have you been drinking it up till now? It's a little late to quit, and if you haven't been drinking it, why not just wait? That being said, many women have a cup here and there and deliver perfectly healthy babies, so I don't think coffee in moderation will do any harm.

  • my ob always told me a cup a day wont hurt but if you have already gone this long it wouldn't hurt to wait a while longer

  • Yes. In moderation though. Everything you eat or drink passes thru the placenta and baby gets it too. might be kicking you a lot. ; )

  • Yep, just limit your coffee intake to 1-2 cups. You could try decaf or switching to a half-caf coffee (still has caffeine but in smaller amount - still has the 'real' coffee taste unlike some decaf coffees).
