Do you recycle your peanut butter jars?

The plastic ones? I avidly recycle everything, but I do throw these away. I fill them with water and always mean to wash them out but they're so darned sticky!! :( I suck.

  • Yes. If you zap them in the microwave for a few seconds, they're much easier to clean off.

  • If they aren't cleaned out I think they just get thrown away by the people who have to sort the recyclables. Not sure though.

  • Yes even though they are a pain. I also throw the jars outside for the squirrels to eat the PB.
