Ok ladies, even if you lock your car, while shopping and still leaving the occasional cell phone on accident...CD's etc...start taking them out!

There is a new "car thief" in town. Apparently a thieves have a nifty little device that will unlock your car, steal whatever, and go. And in some instances, even locking them again. Car thieves will get into a car if they even see some loose change thinking there is more! Or see a cell phone charger and wonder if there is a phone in there, or even a laptop. Leave CD'[s on the seat? Hide them. Radar detector? Make sure they cannot be seen. Perhaps putting it right over your rear view mirror. If nothing can be seen, odds are they will pass it up. The messy cars are all thieves fav things to get into. Thinking you never know...
And the ladies with the high class cars, be especially careful. They will target it just because it "looks" expensive. Also remember to TAKE YOUR GARAGE OPENER OUT of your car! Talk about a easy break in or home invasion. That may have been the entry point with the black guy used to get inside that ladies house. Just don’t leave anything on display in your car, or put nothing in the trunk, that is unless you do not have a trunk release inside. Not even your mail with your address on it!

BTW this is real....not a FB hoax or anything...

  • They also suggest taking all cords & suction cup devices that you attach your GPS to, since they will break in looking for those. And your GPS can lead them to your house too. They suggest instead of using your home address, to pick a business close to your home as your starting point.

^^^^Hey anon, the OP said "thieves"- if you associate that word w/ black guys, that's your problem. Seems like you're trying to create a problem where there is none.

  • Eh, stuff I've always done anyway. Nothing can be seen, even things I've purchased at another store go in the back under the seat. Garage opener is actually programmed into the car, and it's a pos 12 yr old minivan... ain't nobody gonna steal that thing.

I'm amazed by all the folks around here who never leave stuff in their cars, worrying about people stealing stuff, but then leave their garages wide open all the time, and bikes, etc on the front lawn.

  • Yes my friend and a small change jar holder... It only held a dollar or two it was very small. Someone broke into her car and took her two dollars. Since then I try to make my car look as bare as possible.

  • I watched a show a few days ago where they use some type of device to open the electronic doors as well. They said they don't even know what those devices are....

  • "Watch out for those black guys huh................" anon
While blacks are seven times more likely than people of other races to commit murder, and eight times more likely to commit robbery, it also sort of depends on the area also. Like Detroit, 82% are black. So yes the rate of a black person being arrested will be higher then say, Palm Beach FL where 78% of white people living there.
Stop trying to start shit anon..,
