  • I would do both, get a large garden tub and then next to it a stand in shower.

  • shower

  • Both would give your home the highest value but, if I had to pick 1, I'd go with a tub. I love baths.

  • If I could only pick one it would be a shower. We have both and there are times when I really love just sitting in the tub with a drink and a book relaxing.

  • I like to have both.

  • same as lost, I like an occasional bath, dh likes to shower, so BOTH! :)

  • Both.
And remember, as you age, situations might occur where you can not stand in a walk-in shower. If you choose just the shower, make sure you have room for a bench, etc.
What about pets? Have to give your dog a bath? Tub would be useful.

  • A bath tub with a shower. Better yet, make them both separate. A big jacuzzi tub and then a stone wall rain shower with steam jets.

  • For a master, you really need both. in real estate terms, it is only called a 3/4s bath.

  • Just a shower. I don't take baths so I see no need for one. Now a nice shower with multiple shower heads, yeah that I could handle!
