  • Normally as many as I can make....that's about 5 each during picking season.

  • I usually make 2 per person and most of the time, they devour both of theirs. There's been times where I made extras for whatever reason, and they've scarfed down 3. But I've got one that is nearing the teen years and seems to have developed a hollow leg. lol

  • None. My kids hate corn.

  • I make 1/2 for my grand daughter 2 years old
1 each for my son and daughter and son inlaw
2 each for my grandson, my daughter in law, and dh and I
plus "one for the pot" in case some one wants another or for Dh's lunch.
so 13 if everyone is around
on a normal day I would make 5 but then we do not have it often and indulge

  • My DD will eat two ears, occasionally, as will my husband. I'll eat one if I made them.

  • My five-year-old will usually just eat one if I cut the kernels off the cob, but she doesn't like butter on the corn. Go fgure.

  • I, on the other hand, could make myself sick on them. My mom worked doing payroll for a big area farmer years ago, and the best part of that job was that during sweet corn season, she got all she wanted for free, in thirty pound sacks of it, and she played corn Santa Claus up and down our street.
