If you were going camping for a week with no amenities- running water, potties, etc- what would you pack?

You have a large camping backpack with your tent and sleeping bag and plenty of food.

What else do you pack? You will be walking a lot and don't want the bag to be super heavy.

(haha for you. I'll be at home taking showers)

  • My credit card so I could make reservations at a nearby cabin or Hotel. I refuse to rough it. That's not my idea of a vacation! :p  Hopefully our more rustic moms can help you with this one.  GL

  • Lol, mom!

As a teen I used to go backpacking, and I didn't have a tent, just a sleeping bag. I found toilet paper very useful. A trowel for digging a potty hole, Dry shampoo, and ponytail holders. sunscreen, hat, mole skins for blisters. plenty of socks. Bandaids, neosporin, and itch cream

  • A very large supply of Valium so as to at least curtail the urge to hurt whoever dragged me on said camping trip. For it is certain I would not have willingly participated!
