  • Not really. Too many stories. I get the continuity and fill circle but after a while I was just skimming through the chapters.

  • I only got a brief description of Kite Runner & it was too dark for me. So if it's along those lines, I wouldn't be interested in reading it. Others love Kite Runner, but it's just not for me.  If you like the author already, you'll probably like the book.

  • What is it about? I like dark books it sounds kind of interesting. I mostly read Stephen King or Anne Rice and books from similar authors.

  • @Anon, it follows the lives of various families over a period of time. All from Afghanistan, but through the changes of war and people moving on, they eventually come back together in the end.
