Do you want the ability to change your screenname?

I'm just curious, since CM is making changes now and listening to our requests. It would be nice if we could poll this question- just to see the results. On other social networking sites, you have the ability to change your screenname anytime you wish.

Do you think something like that would go smoothly here in Answers, or would it be confusing?

  • If someone really hates their screenname (for example, it's inaccurate to the number of children they have, or they misspelled "angels,") they should be able to change it. I don't see someone who has spent a lot of time getting to know people using a certain screen name arbitrarily changing it.

  • No. People would be trolling daily under new names!

  • That would be just another form of ANONYMOUS I think. Some people would change there screen names daily or weekly.
