  • His elementary school already does a yearbook so I wouldn't know how to go about getting them to do one. I would start with the PTA maybe.

  • Yep- they send home notice in the monthly newsletter about when they go on sale & how much they are. Sometimes the schools PTO helps organize the sale, & you could also check with the company that comes in to do the class pics. They might do both.

  • Start with the principal and see what he or she suggests.

  • Yes -at my son's school it is done thru the PTO. I have not bought him one yet, but will next year for his last year at Elementary school.

  • Our school sells them also through the PTO.The PTO or the principal is probably the best place to start to get them to make them.

  • No and I hope they don't start.

  • @idareyou,,,, may I ask why you don't want them? I thought it would be a great idea. Especially for 6th graders going to middle school or kindergartners. Just something to go back and look at when their older.

  • Our school offers them but we have never purchased. They are $35 and I just don't see the point beyond a senior year book in high school. I actually threw all my yearbooks away when I moved out of my house. My parents got one for me every year. My kids take in a sheet of scrapbook paper for their friends to sign on yearbook day.

  • Our school does them and we don't buy them. I guess I just figure I didn't have them until freshman year of high school and I remember my elementary friends anyway!
