  • I've used Sally Hansen's since I can remember. It works great for me. I tried Nair for face and didn't care for it.

  • Wax, and have it done in the salon, or you can get those Gigi hair remove strips, Nair makes me have a rash.

  • I like wax in a warmer better than the wax strips. If you control the temperature of the wax, the skin is smoother and there is less irritation.

  • The strips would be painful wouldn't they? Would the warmer make it painless?

  • I don't like the Nair for the legs so I won't try the facial. Veet is better than Nair though.

  • I don't think it hurts, as long as the temperature is right. If the wax is too cold, the hair doesn't come out as cleanly and it feels like there is more pull on the skin. If it's too hot, you can burn your skin. Also, using a light dusting of cornstarch before you wax makes the wax stick to the hair, not the skin.

  • Well it stings a little when you pull them off after all you are pulling out the hair.
