One year old with temp of 94.5?

I felt my youngest son when I kissed him goodnight and he felt really warm so I wiped him with a washcloth went to get thermometer came back took temp and it says 94. I took it numerous times I even waited a few minutes and did it again ... This happened to my oldest when he was about one too. I was told to keep him warm and watch his temp and to not let it go down any more.. Should I do that this time too? He isn't showing any other symptoms?

  • He felt warm, but he's 4 degrees colder than normal?
What type of ailment do you think your child has?
The only time a person's temperature goes down is when they have hypothermia, or when they DIE.

I'd guess your child is too close to the air conditioner.

  • Call the peds regular number, they should have an answering service and a way to get in touch with them.. Try it, if not a trip to the ER might be a good idea if he is that cold. Do you have something else to recheck the temp with it, the ear one may be broken
