  • I LOVE tomatoes! by themselves, salted, chopped with avocado and basil, topped with mozzarella, basil and olive oil and a dash of balsamic..... I love them anyway!
Fresh, homegrown taste FAR better than any store bought; however, if you can find Heirloom varieties at say Trader Joes or Whole Foods, those rival even garden fresh!

  • I love tomatoes too. Try to find local tomatoes at a farm stand. They are the best. The ugly ones taste so good! Add a little salt, it really brings out the flavor. Mmmmm.

  • daylily took my answers. I love tomatoes with just salt or with a slice of fresh mozzarella. Try them roasted too, it brings out the flavor.

  • I never met a tomato I didn't like, except those hard hockey puck thingies they try to pass off as tomatoes at Subway and those kind of places. Are you wanting to serve them raw--just slice them and adda bit of salt--or do you want to cook them? I have lots of recipes; I used to grow tomatoes faithfully every year till I moved to a house that doesn't get enough sun for them.

  • What do you not like about the taste. I love them so, I am at a loss.

  • Take a big tomato, cut it in 1/2. Place flat side up on foil on a cookie sheet. Sprinkle with seasoned bread crumbs, grated cheese then lightly drizzle with olive oil. Bake until the top is brown.
