How do I know if pizza dough is still good?

I bought it on 6/30, it has a sticker with a date on it of 7/1 which I assume should be the pack date and not the good-by date but I bought it a day before so that's throwing me off.

It was pre-packaged by the store deli, it's refridgerated. Squishy. Doesn't smell.

Can anything go wrong with it?

Ingredients are

enriched wheat flour
soybean oil
instant yeast

Safe to make pizzas for lunch?

  • It would probably be a sale by date as they don't like to keep them to long. As long as it is the same color and doesn't smell you will be fine.

  • If it smells okay, I'd use it.

  • I'd use it if it didn't smell funky.
