  • The only thing I've ever heard of putting on a bee sting is baking soda mixed with water to form a paste. And that is AFTER making sure the stinger was out.

My youngest has been stung by a bee many, many times. The baking soda paste works wonders. He did get stung in the face once and I put ice on it after putting on the baking soda paste just to make sure it didn't swell up.

  • Yes, but get a piece of garlic and smash it and apply it to the sting, it works wonders but it does make you smell....

  • Believe it or not, diaper rash cream works pretty well on bee & wasp stings.

  • The most important thing is getting the stinger out. The baking soda paste works well.

  • After stinger is removed, smash up an aspirin & make a little paste out of it (by adding a little water) The aspirin will help w/ the pain, itch & swelling.

  • Yes, but better to apply some Cortisone or Benadryl cream and take an anti-histamine and anti-inflammation medication as well, such as Advil and any kind of non-drowsy allergy medication, such as Chlor Tabs or Chlor Trimeton
