2 Bumps

If a person got pregnant on Oct. 17, 2009 and the baby was born June 22,2010 is it possible she was already pregnant before she slept with my brother on October 17? Or I it possible to still have a full term baby during that time she said she was 38 weeks.

• Conception Calculator estimates probable conception dates from Birth, LMP and Due dates.
These are probable conception dates based on an average 28 day cycle.

To use the calculator:

Choose either the Due Date / Birth Date
or the First Day of Last Menstrual Period,

Enter the date, and

Click the 'Calculate' button.

Results:

First Day of Last Menstrual Period: September 15, 2009

Probable Date of Ovulation: September 29, 2009

Possible Dates of Conception: September 25 to October 3, 2009

Due Date: June 22, 2010 (40 weeks)

According to that, it would have been 40 weeks. If she said she was 38 weeks on June 22, then she would have gotten pregnant 2 weeks later, which would have been around the 17th. If your brother has doubts, then he needs to get a paternity test. If you just d

• That whole thing was also based solely on due date, so her period and/or ovulation could have happened at different times, thus not making this perfectly accurate.

• what does your brother think? does he doubt he is the father?
if he doubts, he can ask for a dna test, it will cost him around 100 bucks per person (300) - depends on where it is done

if brother is with this woman and accepts the child, then i say, not your business

with what you gave for details, impossible for strangers on internet to know if some woman slept with someone else before your brother and who got her pregnant

• Get out your calendar. Why is it your business? Yes if you bothered to count it would have been right.

• I used the WebMD due date calendar (entering 3rd October as last menstrual period because you ovulate roughly two weeks later than your LMP and if she got pregnant on 17th October she must have been ovulating) and got a due date of 10th July ... Which would have put her at nearly 38 weeks when she gave birth.

• The only REAL way to know is a test, because every woman has different cycles. The pregnancy wheel and the calculator used above assume 28-day cycles. Many of us don't have them.

From the data you give, yes, he could be the father. But the only way to know for certain is to get that test.

• I would tell him to get a DNA test.. Yes some people are so damn nasty on this site sometimes! Always looking for a confrontation!
