  • Is he crying from pain that comes from the hickups, or just from the frustration of having them? My daughter would get hickups at that age that lasted forever, and eventually cry from pure exasperation.

  • Maybe the hiccups scare him?
    And what is wrong with sleep movement? Videotape yourself one night.

  • Have him lick a small scrap of paper and stick it to his forehead... Works when I have the hiccups lol Plus he may think its silly and stop crying. My son twitches a lot during his sleep... Is your son a light sleeper?
