Have you ever been perscribed a vitamin D pill that you only take once a week?

I haven't gotten them yet. Any idea what to expect?

  • No, I haven't but I know some people who have and no reported side effects. Hope you know that you can also get Vitamin D through Almond Milk, in case you want an alternative. It take's great, too, especially the chocolate and vanilla flavors.

  • Yeah I've taken them. After a couple weeks I felt better cuz I had more energy... No bad side effects from the pills themselves

  • No, but it's not uncommon. We dispense this prescription a lot. But then again, we do live in the N.W., LOL

  • You can also get your daily Vitamin D by spending 15 minutes outside each day.

  • I am told that as you age your ability to absorb vitamin D through sunlight contact diminishes.
I spend several hours outside each day. So it could be true.
