Now I'm curious. I am a regular, not a troll.

What do you all think of my kids' names?

  • @josie: As far as I know, yes. But, with all the funky spellings of names going on right now, you just never know anymore.

@cassie: I didn't like any of the spellings with a K. I wanted to be different, but not way out there.

  • I like them, but I would not have used a hard C for your daughter because I pronounced it Seer-ah in my head first. But I like them.

  • I like the 1st one. The girl name is ok, not my thing but it's not like an awful weird name.

  • I do too, for the most part. I'd ahve to really go looking but I think Dillan/Dillon/etc. are derivatives of Dylan. The only reason Ciara is so hard for people is because of where I live.

Neither one of my kids has to contend with 5 kids in their classes with the same name. My son had a Dyllyn (girl) in his class last year.

  • I always believed in spelling names the way they sound.

  • Kira is pretty for the pronouncing. any name that needs a disclaimer, though, is automatically a no in my book. makes me sad for their lifetime of explaining and correcting
