  • I sometimes let the roast cook and when it's done, shred it and serve with BBQ sauce on Hoagie Rolls
Or Add a little chicken broth and a gravy envelope, carrots, potatoes, and cook it for about 8 hours

  • this I use for beef but it would work with pork as well
1 dry packet of brown gravy
    1 " " " Italian salad dressing
    1 " " " Ranch salad dressing
mix all three in about a cup of water, place your salted and peppered roast in the crock pot then pour the dressing mix over the top, then pour as much water into your crock pot to cover the pork completely. when it's done you use the gravy in the crock pot for potatoes and to pour over your pork.

another I like to rub the whole pork roast in sea salt, then add a little liquid smoke to a crock pot full of water (to cover the roast) it makes a delicious Kahlua pork serve with sticky or white rice and macaroni salad to make a Hawaiian lunch plate.

  • I like this recipe when I get a pork roast.

    1 5 or 6 pound pork roast
    2 cups water
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon crumbled thyme
    1 teaspoon ground sage
    1 teaspoon ground lemon peel
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    1-1/2 teaspoons garlic powder

Place pork in large bowl. Pour water over and add remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight. Turn meat two or three times. Transfer meat and marinade to slow cooking pot. Cover and cook ten to twelve hours. Turn meat once turning cooking. Drain and slice.
