Gold or white crowns?

I have to have a crown :( and can choose between a gold or white one.

The gold one is half the price of the white one and the tooth is right at the back on the top, not easily seen.

Should I go for the gold or the white? What would you do?

Thank you!

  • I personally prefer the white ones but if is not going to be visible I will get the gold one if is half the price of the white one.

  • Since it isn't a visible tooth I would go for the cheaper gold crown.

  • Since dental procedures are so expensive, and it's not a visible tooth, I would go for the less expensive one myself.

  • I have some of both. I got the white ones where they show and gold where they are unseen.

  • White. I would pay the extra.

  • I'd go for the less expensive crown since the tooth isn't visible anyway.

  • When I had my crown and bridgework done I went with the porcelain crowns in front where they would be seen and the gold crown on a molar which would not be visible.
