Has anyone tried the Bead Diet?

I just started today. Just curious if anyone has had any success. Also called Accu-Trim.

  • Yes Stacie, that's the point. You choke, then puke up your food! JK, it's this weird diet a lot of people in my area have done. You wear these little beads behind your ears on acupuncture points. They make you not hungry. After one day, I think it is true. The diet is very limited. Milk products for 2 days, fruits and veggies the next 2. People drop a lot of weight on it. I need desperate measures.

  • I'm not so sure that is healthy. The problem with the fad diets is that if they work and you lose a bunch of weight quickly, it's only a matter of time before you are right back to the weight you were before.

    My grandmother always used to say that she would never go on a diet as the word "die" was in it. LOL.

    Seriously though, m-avi is right. You will have better results in the long run if you watch what you eat and exercise.

    And then they gain what they lost back plus some. The only way to true weight loss (and keeping it off) is lifestyle change. You need to eat healthy and exercise.
