Which do you agree with in regards to a sex offender

Everyone deserves a second chance
Throw his ass in prison

Or both apparently can be argued by the same individual in the next question in this category.

  • I think it depends on why he is a sex offender. If he is on the list because he was 18, she wasn't and then her parents found out, yes, he deserves a 2nd chance.

If he is on the list for not taking "no" for an answer or for something involving a child (less than 14 yrs old) then throw his ass in prison and make sure all the other inmates know why he is in there.

  • If they served their sentence then there is no more that can be done beyond the regular sex offender monitoring. I don't know if that constitutes as a second chance or not. I agree with tech advances that enable the offender to be tracked by GPS and his supervisor to be alerted when he comes to close to a zone he is not allowed in(ie a school zone).

  • Depends on the sex offender. Anybody who touches a child or forcibly rapes someone should never see the light of day, and that's too good for him. Castration would be too good for him. But somebody who becomes a sex offender because he's eighteen and has consensual sex with his fifteen-yearold girlfriend, or who gets caught pissing behind a dumpster somewhere, should be left alone.
