  • OKay... so why hasn't his doctor had him evaluated? Are you raising the child? Why aren't the parents handling it?

  • There are FREE programs out there for kids age 3 through school age to help get them on track. Check into "early intervention" in your state.

  • start spending time with kid, try to show pictures and spell and make them repeat as many times as possible try to repeat for atleast 2 or 3 days so that they remember and memorise

  • Call the local school system. They will do a free evaluation and get him started in therapy. The earlier you get on this, the better the outcome will be - don't delay!

  • my son just started talking more and he is 3, almost 4. I had his hearing checks and they did suggest speech therapy but I didn't take him. He is doing fine now on speech.
