  • HRT Hormone Replacement Therapy. I would say no it cannot. Besides the hormone released when lactating is different from the ones needed to support pregnancy. Plus if you are not having a cycle, you are not ovulating. No egg no baby. Nor will there be the blood rich uterine lining to allow for implantation. You would need to consult a fertility doctor to see if you are even capable of having a child. Most likely not if you have started into menopause.

  • Pumping has no effect. It will do nothing.

If you're over 50, forget the pregnancy. Really. Having a baby will NOT cement your relationship and could even destroy it. If having a baby is needed to keep the relationship, the relationship is already dead and you don't need a breast pump, you need a shovel. To bury it.
