Ever swallowed a garlic clove?

I am reading that raw garlic can be chopped and swallowed as a natural antibiotic and immune system booster.

Anyone done it?! I am wondering about heartburn!

  • You will repel everything, mosquitos, vampires, your SO, everything! Garlic pills even made me ill and smelly. A whole raw clove is too much to even contemplate. :P

  • I had a customer that came into the store where I used to work. He REEKED of garlic. I mean it made my eyes water! He used to eat garlic like that for health reasons and it was seriously repulsive.

  • You can get the same benefits from a garlic gel capsule.

Please spare your family the odor of you actually eating raw garlic. My grandpa did this and it was so bad I swear people across the street could smell him.

  • I worked with a old man who smelled like garlic. I finally asked him why he did. He said he ate it ever day raw.  It might be good for you, but I do not want to smell.

  • LOVE garlic!
I buy garlic jelly and pickled garlic from the Amish. My chickens and dogs get garlic powder sprinkled on their feed.
The trick is to share it with someone you love so you both smell and don't offend lol

  • The thing with the garlic pill is they de-odorize it and the odor is what half of the good stuff for your body.

    No stink, no effect.

I don't want to smell repulsive lol
