Consistency isn't right....

Ok here's the thing... I made a smoothie today with strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, almond milk, yogart, and a touch of honey. I followed all the directions like it said and for some reason it just doesn't taste right.

It has a bitter taste and was really gritty with the seeds. I am not sure if it's my blender or what.

I have a Ninja, I think, and thought it was supposed to make it turn out great. Kinda disappointed.

Should I have blended it longer, blended one fruit at a time?? Not sure... :0)

  • Were any of the fruits frozen? I think frozen fruit gives a better texture in a smoothie. Because the ice masks the grittiness of the seeds. I love my ninja.
