I live in Indiana. We want our son to have my last name. But I want the fathers name on the birth certificate. Does the baby have to have his last name?

  • No,the baby does not have to have the father's name
    He has to sign the birth certificate though

  • You could name the baby Inspektor Pilot and no one would tell you differently. You can put whatever you want (except numbers and punctuation marks)
