The last time I received any flowers from my SO was the single red rose he gave me on our 1st date. He buys me little things, takes care of all maintenance on my car, fixes things around my apartment and takes me out to eat often.
I just see my friends, family, and co-workers getting flowers and just wish I was the one getting flowers.
Does a flowering cactus count? I know how you feel and there are times that I catch myself seeing other's husbands doing things for them or buying them flowers, etc. The last time I caught myself wishing that was when my friend's husband was giving her a neck massage at a work event. I felt a twinge of jealously but brushed it off. I found out a few weeks later that her husband was cheating on her. Anyways, I am not saying that every husband who does something for their wives is because they are cheating, but it did put it in perspective for me. I appreciate what he does and when I do start feeling that jealousy, I ask myself what I have done for him lately. If I can't answer it, then I do something for him and it normally gets paid back with him doing something for me.
