I don't know. I have a friend who refused to leave her children with the in-laws. Now, like 5 years later, she found out her FIL molested his kids, guess her feelings were justified. Do you feel weird about the in laws or is it just you don't like to leave your kid?
It's normal not to want to leave your baby, but if you have someone you can trust, it's good for all of you to leave him/her occasionally. Moms need to have some time to themselves, and Mom and Dad also need to have some time alone.
