If you really liked a guy, would it bother you he goes to sports bars with his buddies all the time?

He is 33, has a great job, responsible, and does not get drunk when he goes to bars. Its just something him and his friends do. I dont see a problem with it, but my friends do. Thoughts?? Btw we are only dating but we are only seeing each other. He said he wants to take things slow.

  • Define ALL THE TIME. Everyday? Every Friday? If he's not in a relationship and doesn't have kids does he have anything better to do?

  • If he is not married to you it is none of your business.

  • do not expect this to change if and when you get married
33, is pretty old to be going to bars a few times a week
he will be set in his ways

if you are ok with this as a girlfriend, be prepared to be ok with this as a wife

  • if it doesn't bother you then who cares. Just always remember that is what he enjoys doing and probably won't stop even if you do get serious. I see way too many women who get mad at their boyfriend/husbands for doing things they have been doing since they started dating. some men don't change so it is something to think about. :)

  • If it doesn't bother YOU then don't worry about if it bothers others!
I see no problem -it is a couple times a week, and he isn't getting wasted or whatever and he is entitled to have friends and do guy things...

  • Sounds pretty normal to me. I don't see what the big deal is. It sounds like your friends think you should be controlling, and it's better that you're not.
