  • No. I have shaved mine before and it came back normal. Hormones, aging, and chemotherapy can change the texture though.

    I have kinky curly hair on the top, and slightly wavy hair from the ears down, from when I shaved it in college.

  • Nope. Hair texture is determined bygenetics. The idea that it will grow in finer and softer if you shave it off is a myth.

  • lol nope but I was on a chemotherapy drug for my autoimmune, while not all my hair fell out(I did loose quit a bit) it didn't change. I used to have some wavy hair but now I get ringlet curls, something I never had before.
