what can i do to ease my pain?

I'm 23 week prego and i been having lower back and legs pain, i been sleeping with pillows between my legs, walking and being up just makes it worst at night or when waking up but after a few minutes the pain will go away as i start walking around the house and again it starts at night time, or when out with the family been up to much the pain will start again in ill make sure i have a belt support to help but it just helps for a lil while any one have any suggestions on what to go to ease the pain?

  • Sounds like you're overdoing it. Stay off your feet, stay hydrated and look into a maternity massage.

  • Unfortunately lower back pain and leg pain is very common at this stage of pregnancy.
    You're posture is changing as you're growing and causes you to slump more and increase the pain in the legs for overcompensating your posture.
    The best thing you can do is start an exercise regiment or walk. Don't cross your legs while sitting and remind yourself to stand up straight as well as sit up straight.
    If this doesn't help, it may be the baby putting pressure on your sciatic nerve. Something to discuss with your Dr at your next appointment.
