How to make the scar look less visible

my boy fell down and cut his forehead on the edge of a glass cofee table. today he had his stitches removed. i was said i can apply antibiotic ointment on the scar to help the healing. do you know of any other cream that makes wonders on scars? he is 2.5yo and the scar is just above his eyebrow... so much visible :( .... neosporin is good too. anything else? thanks

  • there is an over the counter cream to aid in he healing of scars, just ask the pharmacist.
    Keep the area out of sunlight

  • Keep it covered for a while when you go outside. The sun makes scars worse.

  • Someone on this site recommended vitamin E oil to me for a burn scar that I have on my arm. It has helped make the scar fade some.

  • being 2 chances are it could eventually grow and 'move' up on his forehead making it less visible as well. Vit. E is a very good choice.

  • Vitamin E or Mederma and keeps sunblock with a high spf on it ALL year long. My 8yo has a scar that he got when he was 2yo and nowadays most people don't even notice his scar wish is right below his eyebrow.
