  • I mean, none of us have practical experience with everything that is asked here. Most long time members, I've noticed, will say "I've never experience that but...." as a bit of a disclaimer

  • It completely depends on the question. Some things I've experienced, some I haven't.

  • really depends.. Most of it I base around the knowledge i've gained through education.. But, when I can give advice from experience I do. I think it's better because you don't come off being a judgmental know-it-all.. As for the think what I would do, I try not to think about what I would do, it's bad for the brain on a few levels.

  • Like the others said, it depends on the question. I try not to talk out of my ass though, so if it is a medical question or a legal question or something I know absolutely nothing about, I tend to steer clear.

  • I will usually say if I am drawing on my own experience. I do try to give the best advice I can if it's a serious question.

  • It depends on the question. I might not always have experience to speak with, but I would always do my best to offer whatever aid or advice I could.
