Am i thinking of the right thing?

bought 4 nice sized peaches today, and lately ive been craving warm desserts with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. the pie i made the other day is already gone. so i googled a peach cobbler recipe but in the picture the breading part looks soft. i want something with a firm, crunchy crust like apple pie. is peach cobbler the way to go, or maybe peach crisp?

  • You can add a handful of oatmeal to a plain cobbler recipe to make the topping crunchier.

  • You probably want to use a rolled pie crust. The Pilsbury refrigerated ones are great and would make a wonderful peach pie!

  • My peach cobbler's top is kind of crunchy (sorta like a brownie), but underneath, it's kind of dumpling-y. If that makes any sense.
