All right- let's do this.

Here's the test:
Define-
Libel
Slander

How many states have cyber stalking laws?
What constitutes cyber stalking?
If someone has a PUBLIC social media account- can you cyber stalk them?

Funniest derail should get BA.
I am, however, going to leave this one up just so we can always reference it when My particular pet peeve is hit.
If one is going to attempt to cite Law- cite law, not opinions.

  • So, funny story. I have to look those definitions up EVERY time. I can't keep them straight in my head, probably because I don't use them very often.

I would think (and again, have no clue, just talking out my butt here) that if I had it within my power to limit access to MY public social media accounts and did not, thus allowing someone to "stalk" me, I couldn't fall back on any of the above terms.

Having said that, if the stalker in question went to lengths to circumvent my limiting access I would think that would be a whole different kettle o' fish

  • It's funny that the person accusing US of these things is the one who libels, plagiarizes, and so forth. ;)
