Our new complex seems to have a TON of mosquitoes. I have no idea where they are coming from as there isn't any water nearby(except the highly chlorinated pool). Perhaps the bushes are attracting them??
Anyways, does anyone know of a way to repeal the mosquitoes more so from the general area of my porches more so then just wearing bug repellent? Perhaps a homemade remedy? Or a good store bought one that actually works.
A product called Mosquito Beater works great. There's also an organic product made from garlic that some people I know use and say they've had good results.

One of our members recommended filling a spray bottle with mouthwash & spritz yourself & the kids before you go outside. I tried it & so far it has worked great! The mosquito's also hang out in roof gutters that stay wet from dripping central A/C drains that release water into the gutters.
