Using the iCloud backup....

I just got an iPad for my birthday and I'm trying to sync my contacts etc with my iPhone...

Do you back up your ipad and/or iphone to the Cloud?

If yes what has your expeience been like?

If no... why not? (assuming you have an ipad and/or iphone that is)

Thanks for any info you have to offer ;o)

  • I only have it set for new songs or apps. Otherwise I end up with my daughter's Instagram and dozens of pictures and my iMessages go to every idevice I have. Plus the free GB is just not enough.

  • I turned it on.... backed up my phone. It basically only backed up my contacts & calendar, which is what I wanted. Then I turned it off. Then backed up my iPad and somehow my contacts are now on my iPad... which is what I wanted. So far it's working! LOL
