When is the best time to test for pregnancy?

I'm 5 days late, and took a test yesterday (a cheap one) and it showed a very faint positive line, I'm wanting to test again but not sure how long to wait. Some sites say from the first day of your missed period but I'd have thought its still a bit soon 5 days over :/ confused and sleepy so please forgive me!

  • You tested at the best time already; when you're late. A faint line is a positive. Go see your doc and congratulations. No need to test again.

  • Go ahead and test again use first urine of the morning, but it sounds like you are pregnant. Schedule an appt with your doctor and he can confirm.
