2 Bumps

I am 20 weeks pregnant & I am exhausted!!! I have had RLS since middle or high school. Usually a few calf stretches and I'm fine. I had trouble with it my last pregnancy, but since we had no other children I just slept in longer if my RLS kept me up late. Now we have a 2 year old & I'm exhausted! My RLS keeps me up til 2 or 3 most nights...
Are there ANY suggestions to help ease my crazy legs??? I'm so tired people that barely know me think I look like a zombie!

  • Have you tried a hot bath before bed? I had this mildly in my pregnancy and a bath helped.

  • I take requip for it. I don't take it every night, just when I need it. I have to take it 3-4 nights a week. It kicks in within about 30 minutes.

  • My boyfriend has restless legs, and when it gets really bad, he goes walking around the house for a while till the spasms settle down.

  • I tried the hot bath, it temporarily helps.. Most of the RLS mess aren't safe during pregnancy (or so I've read). I have a dr. Appt Monday I'm going to talk to him about it though. Thanks ladies!
