  • They took the death penalty off the table to make some countries considering whether or not to shelter him, to possibly hand him over to us now that his life will be spared. I personally don't know how the poor guy is surviving in a friggin airport all this time. I wish someone would just give him asylum & be done with it.

  • The government is hoping no country will give the poor man asylum if the death penalty will not be sought. This was not a decision made out of kindness or mercy.

When you get charged with espionage, capital punishment is automatic, in most cases. And agree with Ballad with they reasoning.
As for Casey Anthony, you have the same stupid bitch (Andrea Corey) that charged Zimmerman for 2nd degree murder, which she overcharged with by hiding evidence. She also overcharged Anthony by charging her with 1st degree murder, with the death penalty on the table. All she had then was circumstantial evidence. No jury the free world world will send someone to their death with circumstantial evidence. But if she charged her with the 2nd degree murder, it would be almost 95% chance of conviction. There was more than enough proof to show "a depraved mind". Remember the pics of her partying while her daughter was "missing"? Thats a example of a depraved mind.

  • Thoughts....

    ...hmm...

From the minute Snowden sets foot on American soil, he will be a dead man walking.
