My one year old fingers his hair to comfort himself. His father wants to cut his semi long curly hair. Will this effect his abilty to comfort himself?

  • Aww- that sounds so sweet. My middle son had the cutest little blonde curls when he was little. Why does his dad want to cut his hair? Does he have a favorite blankie or stuffed toy that he sleeps with, that he could use for comfort instead?

  • I think that it's interesting as a one year old he can already do that and he's developed a comfort mechanism. I don't really think it's a problem. it's better then some comfort mechamsims out there.
