  • I didn't spill anything! It's just freakin' dirty! I can't get baked grease off a cookie sheet, I don't know how to get it off an oven!

  • I just use the self cleaning feature!

  • Is it a self cleaning oven? That's what I would do but open all the windows when you do it. It will get VERY HOT & smelly!

  • The self cleaning function does nothing for the baked on grease on the door. All it does is turn any food particles on the bottom of the oven to ash.

  • Well... for the stuff the self cleaning won't get... I use Easy Off.

  • Easy off. Spray a lot then wait overnight. It will wipe off easily in the morning.

  • Brillo pad and lots of elbow grease--how I clean mine.

  • Steel wool works well, especially the kind with the soap already in it. I'm not sure what the name of the pads are, but they're blue. I know this because my dog ate some and vomited blue all over the light-colored carpet when I first moved into my condo and had to clean the nasty oven.
